  1. I'm not realy sure what I saw, so I'm asking you folks.  Last week we were driving to Las Vegas from the south.  At about 3:00am 
  2. we saw a vapor trail start to form in the west.  It was moving pretty fast so I timed it.  Whatever this was took about 2:30 minutes to 
  3. cross from horizon to horizon at about 45 degrees from up.  Can anyone figure out how fast this would be?  maybee it's not fast at 
  4. all, but it sure seemd to be, especially low enough to form a vapor trail.
